Local businesses participate by decorating one of our sleeping rooms and then staffing the room to hand out "trick or treat" goodies to the children in our community. Companies like Nestle and Sarah Lee have made this event a tradition.

The Hotel along with other businesses donate gifts for the grown ups as well. This year Parents are encouraged to register for these prizes and gifts for the entire family.

I just want to compliment you on the service your staff provided when my husband and I stayed at your establishment this past weekend. Our reservation went fine and when we checked in Friday evening, 10/23, your desk staff were exceedingly courteous, helpful, and pleasant- even down to offering a bottle of water for weary travelers :-)

Our room (#309) was very clean and everything we needed was there for us. We ate dinner at the restaurant and were impressed by the quality of the food and drinks, but especially, once again, by the wait staff. The next morning, breakfast was good- and even though we ate later in the morning, nothing was unavailable than had been there when I went down for coffee earlier. When I checked out, the woman at the desk was very nice and was sincere when she asked about how our stay was, was there anything they could improve upon, etc. Oh- and the Halloween decorations really gave the facility a welcoming and fun atmosphere! Overall, we were more than satisfied with our stay and felt we really got our money's worth.

Thank you for taking extra care in the way you run your business and in hiring just the right people for the job. It is obvious that you take great pride in what you do. What began as a routine stay for us turned out to be a very pleasant surprise!

Rochelle Illinois Hotel and Railroad Park Package

Located near our Rochelle Illinois hotel is the Rochelle Railroad Park. The Rochelle Railroad Park is a place where railroad fans or “Train Spotters” can view and photograph trains.

Before the city of Rochelle built the Railroad Park, visitors would park near the tracks to catch a glimpse of the fast moving trains. City officials were concerned about the safety of the train fans.

Taking the matter into their own hands, the city erected a viewing platform. This allowed to visitors to look down the tracks and stay safe.
