Friday will kick off Rochelle Railroad Days from 4-9p.m. The Flagg Township Museum will be open for touring, the Union Pacific Engine Display can be viewed, and there will be a RMU Facility Tour. Your children can even make their own passport book!
After beginning your weekend with educational and fun activities, head back to the Comfort Inn and Suites for a nice night’s rest. Rest your head on our comfortable pillows and get geared up for more family fun!
Saturday Rochelle Railroad Days will be from 10a.m. until 9p.m. and will also include the Flagg Township Museum, the Union Pacific Engine Display, RMU facility tour, and the opportunity for children to make their own passport books. However, there will be oodles of other activities to enjoy too! The World War II Museum will be open as will the Antique Mack Truck Display. Kids will have a blast riding on the kiddie train rides and participating in a watermelon seed spitting contest. Adults you can spit watermelon seeds too (Ptooo)! Age groups are 3 to 7, 8 to 12, and 13 to adult.
On Sunday there will still be more to do with your family at the Rochelle Railroad Days. Hours are from 10a.m. until 6p.m and will be a continuation of many of the great activities that have been going on all weekend.
